How to Make a Fashionable Dichroic Glass Timepiece

For this particular project, you are going to need the following materials. A small bottle of rubbing alcohol, dichroic glass, glass cutter, glass nipper, a kiln and a new decat sheet.

Here are the procedures in creating your unique dichroic  glass timepiece.  Initially, be sure that your watch glass is squeaky clean by applying some rubbing alcohol. Next , use glass cutters and glass nippers to cut out one inch square of different colors from a dichroic glass. Then, gently soak the decal in water for a few minutes. Remove it again from the water and slip the decal off the sheet with your fingers.  Put it in one of the glass squares.

In addition, you should place all the glass squares for your elegant dichroic glass timepiece on  the kiln shelf.  Afterwards,  let it vent to 1,000 degrees Fahrenheit, Close the lid thereafter.  Moreover, allow the kiln to heat up to 1,350 degrees Fahrenheit. After this step, do not forget to turn the kiln off and allow it to cool down.  Since we are halfway through with our terrific project, turn the kiln on up to 1,350 degrees Fahrenheit.  Keep on repeating this step, until the glass  has already melted according to your desired texture.
