The Most Antiquated Jewelry in Global History

We are all fascinated with a glittering and glamorous jewelry for any occasion. But, have we ever pondered about what’s the oldest accessory since time immemorial? Don’t be surprised if it is a bead made of shells that was suddenly found in a mystifying cave in Israel. These beads are organic in nature and its age is about 100,000 years old. Furthermore, their sizes are similar to great-tasting peas. Originally, it emanated from a marine  mollusks called Nassarius.

Likewise, there was another similar type of jewelry that was unearthed in a cave located in South Africa. The splendid trinket has a carbon dating age of 70,000 years old and has traces of red ochre. This has been presumed to be dyed and it could have been one of the ancient cases  of gemstone treatment. Meanwhile, its stones are said to be rubbed on a dyed surface for the purpose the coating of a red ochre.

One of the most classical bead  shell jewelry has been found in Algeria. As for its age, it is about 35,000 years old.  These astonishing treasures had become a precedent of human evolution and our glamorous world of fashion today.
